Detail of the Protagonist in my next Series: The Dreams of an Indian Prostitute
Much of my work has been about religion and the human condition. Obviously deep faith, organized religion, and even multiple deities, have never been an assurance of human happiness. Nowhere has this more true then in India. Through out recorded history it’s been associated with, starving children, (historically) leprosy, and class distinctions. All that despite a predominate religion featuring over 300 million representations of God! It begs the question; what hope could a monotheist have?! This series looks at one woman’s desires and beliefs as they manifest in her dreams. Fortunately, in dreams nobody starves or experiences pain, and whores are free to dance with gods.
